Notification only for door bell ring
troubleshooting
Hi there the motion detector is too sensitive since I live near a busy sidewalk. It is literally detecting everyone who passes by. Can I just receive notifications to my phone when the doorbell is rung?

Hi @user_140323. Yes, you can do this by turning the Motion Alerts toggle off on your Ring Doorbell's device profile page. Another option if you still want alerts for motion is to reduce your Motion Zones and Motion Sensitivity. However, you may still receive a lot of motion alerts if your Doorbell faces a busy sidewalk.
