I purchased the Doorbell Pro and three other cams. Out of the box, I had constant problems with connectivity. It might work for now and then three minutes from now not work, and then three minutes later work again, etc.. I was going to return all of them in disgust. Note: My updated dual router is only 15 feet from the Doorbell and two of the Cams. My Android phone is fairly new and is updated. I called Ring Technical Support and the guy had me change settings in my Android phone. He told me I needed to change the settings every time I left home and close vicinity to my router, and then reset the settings when I came home again. No way was I going to do that. I was going to return everything. I stopped by the local AT&T Store and just happened to mention to the clerk my Ring problems. It turns out he had recently installed his own families Ring Doorbell Cam. He went in and made an easy change to my phone's settings. I asked him to write down what he did so I could repeat what he did on my own in the future if needed. It has been weeks now and the problem has not presented itself again. (I am so happy, I stopped by the AT&T Store and gave the clerk a $40 tip.) My question is, why aren't the Ring Technical Support personnel taught this easy method of fixing connectivity problems? A side note: Ring, AT&T, Android and the FBI encourage everyone to reset their phone and router every couple days. This was not my original connectivity problem but good advice that can effect connectivity with your anythings. What he did in my phone's settings might or might not help you, but here is what he did for my Android phone that cured (CURED) my connectivity problems: (please do not blame me if it does not help you, or causes you problems) Have both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Calling toggled on all the time. Go to Settings in your phone In the Search Bar type, "reset networks" Then select, "reset network settings" Put in your password/pin The phone will automatically reset. Put in your Pin again - if asked That is all it took to remedy my gross Ring connectivity problems.
