Camera Person Alert "You Are Being Recorded"

How can I set the camera warning "voice" (you are being recorded) to only go off during night hours? It doesn't seem to be affected by the motion alert schedule I set. I don't want to hear this recording all day when people go in and out of the house. Thank you.

Hello, To set your camera's warning voice ("You are being recorded") to play only during night hours, you will likely need to adjust its settings directly in the app for the camera. The motion alert schedule usually affects notifications or recordings, but not necessarily the voice warning feature. Here’s how you might achieve this, depending on the camera system:     Official Website 1. Check for a Voice Warning ScheduleOpen the camera app on your phone or computer.Navigate to the settings for the specific camera.Look for an option related to the voice warning or audio alerts.Check if there's a scheduling feature for the voice warning and set it to activate only during night hours.2. Use a Rule or Automation (if supported)Many smart camera systems support automations or "rules."Create a rule that enables the voice warning during specific hours (e.g., 9 PM to 7 AM) and disables it during the day.Look for these options in the "Automation" or "Rules" section of your app.3. Motion Detection ModesSome cameras allow different profiles or modes for motion detection, such as "Home," "Away," or "Night."Assign the voice warning to only the "Night" mode and set the camera to switch modes automatically based on time.4. Geofencing or Manual ControlIf your camera system supports geofencing, you can disable the warning when you're home and enable it when you're away during the evening hours.Alternatively, you can manually toggle the warning on or off through the app at night.Best Regardsmerry867
