Why fake messages? Come on Ring

So the messages and revolving ring screen like it is connecting to the camera is fake. Took the battery out of my ring peep hole cam to charge.. when I go to the camera and try to view, it says sending request, activating device, sending credentials, starting stream, and then it gives a message it can't connect... So all those messages before that are just a fake video that plays and it means nothing. How can it do any of those things if there is no battery installed.. This is pretty deceiving and makes it hard to trouble shoot when there are actually other issues. This really makes makes me not want ring. I don't like dealing with companies that lie to me and show me fake and false information. I'm already seeing this with the manually set activation zones . Ring.....make it correct and right or take your devices back,....
