Why did locations become hidden on the phone app?

Hi there-I noticed recently that the Ring app started hiding locations. Previously it never listed specific addresses, and only listed a circled area on the map. Why did the circled area feature disappear? We live in a small town in between 3 other towns and when several people post that their car was prowled or a bear was spotted, it’s really helpful to know which neighborhood. No one describes their location since there was always a map included previously. Help!
