Shared User - Cannot Turn off Motion Alert Notification for Motion Detector?

Have an odd situation and wonder if Im doing something wrong with settings here. We have a Ring system with indoor motion detector. Im the main account owner, and on my iPhone app I can turn off “Motion alerts” for the Ring indoor motion detector, so my phone isn't constantly giving pop-up notifications any time I'm walking around the house. However my spouse who has access as a SHARED USER, on her account the “Motion alerts” section is greyed out when I go to devices and select the indoor motion detector. Her phone is constantly giving pop-up notifications about motion being detected in the house throughout the day. Is there any way for my spouse (as a shared user) to specifically turn off and prevent motion alerts for the ** indoor motion detector ** ONLY?   I understand I can go to the iPhone notifications settings and completely turn off Ring app notifications / pop-ups, however that is not what we want (we still want pop-ups for example if there is a person detected on our Ring doorbell, or if the doorbell is pressed). Its just the motion alert for our Ring indoor motion detector that we need to be turned off (for the SHARED USER).

    Hi @user_54a7f6. Normally a Shared User is able to toggle off or on alerts for sensors, and as of right now it is not working correctly. Rest assured that our team is investigating and working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. You can give our support team a call to be added to the group of neighbors that are having this issue, and once resolved, you will receive an email that it has been fixed.

      I called support and was told that this is a new feature Ring is testing, and that they may or may not continue restricting the ability to toggle notifications. I much prefer the solution offered, but someone should inform the call center!!

        Thanks for sharing. This seems quite ridiculous honestly. Why are they testing a new feature where they are removing flexibility and controls… Very frustrating given the cost of investing in a Ring ecosystem, that they keep removing flexibility and settings.  Would appreciate any update from Ring about this issue.
