Ring Motion alerts not working only Live view works

My Ring no longer picks up motion of any kind and I can only see live view. I have not changed anything in my Ring app and I I have Protection Plus and is all paid up. Not sure why the camera is not picking up motion as it once did. Anyone else ever have this issue?

Hi @vlphoto. There are various things you’ll want to check for motion detection concerns. First, review your Motion Zones and Motion Sensitivity to ensure they’re set to your liking. With a Ring Protect plan you also have access to Smart Alerts settings, so I’d recommend checking those settings as well. Lastly, verify motion detection isn’t turned off in the Modes settings.
