Ring App

Question

I just went through the process to reconnect all my Ring devices to my wifi network after having upgraded the networ.  It is tedious and requires physically visiting each device and manually removing it to push reset buttons , enter QR code pin numbers, etc.  Why cant the Ring App software be upgraded to allow the user to change networks through the app?

Hi @user77192. Thanks for sharing your feedback on this process. When updating the wifi network, you’ll have to put your Ring device in setup mode, which does require physically accessing the device and pressing the setup button. I recognize this is not the most convenient process, particularly if you have multiple devices. You’re welcome to add your feedback and vote to this thread on our Feature Request board.
