Ring App on my phone not making sounds out of the blue
Out of the blue the ring app has stopped making sounds, i have not changed any settings on either the phone or the ring app. I get the notification by a pop up and my phone vibrates but no sounds . EVERYTHING IS ON … notification sounds all the buttons are checked all the phone settings are set to make noise etc … short of uninstalling is there anything else to try ? ive followed all the trouble shooting … i also have a smart watch and i dont have notifications on that from the ring door bell … again i havent changed anything and it was working just find only days ago… i receive all other notification sounds on my phone … just not the ring app

Hi Caitlyn, I too am having the same issue. My audible alerts changed to vibrations without any activity on my part. I have checked the settings on my iPhone & the Ring app.Everything looks fine. I have an IPhone 8 version 16.7.10. The Ring app version is 5.77.0. Thank you.

JHi @user_2d3236. Those were good steps to take for your concern. I would also suggest trying to uninstall and reinstall the Ring app to see if it helps. We also have this Help Center page with other steps you can try. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.

Hi @Steppenwolf. It would be helpful if you could share which phone you’re using - is this an Android or iOS device? Which version of the Ring app are you currently running? Feel free to also share a screenshot of your notification settings so we can see how you have it configured.
