Ring App needs an upgrade

There are times when my Ring app fails to connect, moves extremely slow or cycles painfully. I'm constantly being told, check your wi fi or check your phone. The other day I downloaded the rapid Ring app and it flies! Playback and response is faster. It dawned on me, the issues I've been having is because of the Ring app. Something needs to be done to upgrade the speed on the app itself.
