Not able to delete events

We have a ring doorbell bell which I am the main person to deal with any events like when people are in the range of the doorbell. I have shared the app with my husband. My husband was able to delete the events but since my phone's touchscreen needed changing, my husband cannot delete any events and would like to please. I would like to know if I should uninstall the Ring app on both phones and then re-install the app
