No ability for pop up notification on lock screen?

Why doesn't Ring send me a pop up notification on my lock screen (I have an Android, note 9) when there's an alert? It ONLY chimes. No visual notification on my lock screen like I would get if someone texted me. I've gone through ALL ring and phone settings. Is this not an option??

Hi @loveacacatus. The Ring app does give you pop-up notifications. I would also check our list of [Android apps that interfere with the Ring app](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005889983-Android-Apps-Causing-Issues-with-the-Ring-App) to see if you could possibly have one of these apps causing your concern.
