New Look to the Ring App Starting November 19, 2024

Notice anything different about the Ring app? Experience improvements to how cameras and devices appear on your Dashboard and more.The improved Ring app look will be available to customers starting November 19, 2024. DevicesYou can now see Chimes, Ring Smart Lights, Locks and more Devices at the bottom of the Ring app main dashboard – allowing easier access in a single swipe. Tap on any Device tile to control its functions, access its settings, and see any active status messages that might need your attention. Some tiles, like Light Groups and Alarm Base Stations, also provide access to their connected devices.Plus, you can tap, hold and arrange your Devices how you want on the main dashboard.Learn more about Device Tiles Camera Previews In June 2024, we’ve made it easier to control and manage your cameras on the main Ring app dashboard. When you tap on the more icon (•••), you can open a quick control panel to perform basic actions like turning Motion Alerts and Camera Lights on or off, or sounding the Siren on cameras.
