Missing alarm icons from dashboard
android

I just went to arm my alarm in the Ring Android app (version 3.22.1) and the alarm icons are missing from the dashboard. They were there earlier today. Why are they gone now? Anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks ![Screenshot_20200205-001745.jpg|1080x2280](upload://tl0LnIWYUWEGw4cwtP4vURaNBgA.jpeg)

Now the icons are back. Consider the issue closed though I'm still curious why this happened. ![Screenshot_20200205-003351.jpg|1080x2280](upload://mdUE6OOs3hZw44JctxY1bcr7Crk.jpeg)

Hi @Tmoe711! If you've already removed and reinstalled the Ring app on your mobile device, the best next step will be to ensure VPN is not enabled and trying this on cellular data connection only, or wifi connection only, to see if one connection is better than the other. Please let us know if this helps to resolve your concern! :)

The VPN was the cause, thank you!

This happens all the time. They are missing on my iPad and iPhone. So times they show back up. Ring needs to fix this. They should Always be first thing you see in the app. I have no VPN.

Still happening. Yesterday, I noticed that the ALARM and MONITORING shortcuts were missing from the dashboard. Not just missing, but no longer available under EDIT. Curiously, it happened to both me (Android) and my wife (iPhone) at the same time. So it's not an app thing, really; it must be server-based. I called Ring.com for help. The support agent showed me a (many clicks / onerous) way to pull up the ALARM list, but did not acknowledge that there was a problem with the app.
