Plus you say it was “updated” but it was actually deleted from the app and needs restored ASAP. This makes your app almost useless to me and causes me too much time to determine which events I have already seen and which events I have not seen. I don’t have time to scroll through history with 2 locations and dozens of cameras. I pay a yearly subscription for both locations and require the red badge event counter on each camera on the dashboard. The Ring team does not realize the value and power of this feature since someone decided it was wise to delete it…makes zero sense and shows your development team is out of touch with the core features of your app.

AI am seriously checking back on this site about every few hours to see if there’s an update on this. I know y’all probably paid a mint to update the app, but this feature needs to be added back. It was not “updated”. It was removed. If it was because the red wasn’t as clean of a design, there’s ways to make that number cleaner. I’ll admit, the new app is clean—design wise—but a clean design doesn’t necessarily help me monitor cameras better. I am about 24 hours into having this updated app, and a bit annoyed at having to manually track the last time I checked my cameras. In this age of automation and tech, I’m back to setting alarms as reminders and writing notes. I miss that red number.

UBring back the event counters and move things like mailbox and gate back to the top. It's ludicrous that we have to scroll all the way to the bottom to view those buttons now.

UThis update is a setback in my opinion. There is more than just the event counter being removed for "new activity" which is almost useless because I sometime have to go through all 10 of my camera feeds to figure out which one is still reflecting "new activity". Why can't the shortcut bar be edited any more and what happened to the shortcuts I had that got removed? All 6 of my chimes were in a shortcut where I could see them all. Now I have to scroll down below my cameras to see them. I often snooze different chimes for different reasons and having them located under the one shortcut was very convenient. I hope the last update will be fixed or removed. Thi

Bring back the red badge event counter immediately…I agree with others that call this update one of the worst decisions possible

I too want the unviewed count back on the cameras as now I have to access the camera and swipe until I see an event I have seen and then wtch the rest. Bad idea to remove.

Removing the red Events Counter in the latest update was a downgrade to the UI. Checking the App's Dashboard for red Event Counters was the quickest and easiest way for me to determine if there was any NEW activity, and on which device. I don't think users are going to enjoy scrolling through footage that may be new or previously viewed. At least make the red Events Counter an option in the UI. Please.

I used to have the event count feature in my list view on each individual camera and it’s recently vanished!!! No one seems to have the answer for this, and it seems to have happened shortly after an update. Customer support said to reinstall the App but that did nothing.
