A problem getting notifications

So I’ve just gotten my ring doorbell. It’s great, but there’s one problem. I for the life of me can’t get it to send notifications to my phone. I’ve tried everything, including logging out and logging back in. But when I came back, it still wasn’t working.

Hi @Gravy. What type of phone are you using the Ring app on? If this is an Android, try the steps in this Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/211676423-How-to-Troubleshoot-Ring-Notification-Issues-for-Android-Devices) and this one [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210266406-How-to-Troubleshoot-Ring-Notification-Issues-for-iOS-Devices) for IOS. Also, be sure that you do not have a VPN active on your phone while using the Ring app, as this can cause issues. Let me know if this is helpful.
