I have this smart lock with z wave connected to my ring system. Ring doesn't know when the door opens, the lock has a magnetic door open sensor, and the smart lock won't arm or disarm when the lock is opened or locked.  This functionally is advertised for all compatible smart locks. I feel duped here.  Will this ever be available for this lock?  If I want to replace this lock how can I tell if another lock will have this functionality?

Hi @user_ba3181. I checked the smart lock compatibility list, and there are several Yale Assure Lock 2 models listed. I'd recommend verifying the specific model number as well. Once you've checked that, make sure you have the feature fully set up in the Ring app. If it's still not working, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers here, or on Facebook @Ring by sending a private message.

Hi user_ba3181, I have the Kwikset 914 and it will not pair with the ring alarm system so I cannot get the ring app to lock/unlock the door.  I just moved and my prior house had the same equipment and I could lock/unlock the doors using the app.  I also asked Ring customer service if another brand lock would work better and was referred to Yale.
