Ring alarm losing internet connection when hardwired to router

Hi, is anyone having issues with ring alarm. It keeps losing internet connection even though it is hardwired to router which is about 12 inches away from base station. I have to keep unplugging Ethernet and when I plug back in , it is then restored??

Hi @user1257. I recommend trying to reboot your router by unplugging it from power and plugging it back in to see if that helps. You can also reboot your Base Station to see if it helps. To reboot it, quickly press and release the reset button at the back of the device with a paper clip or similar tool. DO NOT PRESS AND HOLD THE RESET BUTTON DOWN LONGER THAN ONE SECOND TO AVOID FACTORY RESETTING THE DEVICE. If you have tried these steps and are still having the same concern, give our support team a call for further assistance.
