Reset Ring Flood Freeze Sensor

I have a Ring Flood Freeze Sensor that alerted on a low temperature last winter. I have not been able to figure out how to reset the alert. I have tried everything short of removing the battery until it drains completely and then re-joining it. Surely there is an easier way to reset this? Thanks, Jon

Hi @irishjd. Factory resetting this can be a bit tricky, but I'll try my best to describe it to you. First, you'll take the battery out of the Ring Flood and Freeze Sensor. Next, on the side you should see a black and silver button. You're going to hold this button down and reinsert the battery. Continue holding the button while you see some blue flashes.
