Hi @Vincentfhylla. The OneLink Safe and Sound alarm is not compatible with the Ring Alarm system. You can take a look at what devices are compatible with Ring devices in our Help Center Article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026250452-Works-With-Ring-Compatible-Devices). I hope that helps! :)

Ooooops @Caitlyn\_Ring . . . I was writing my answer to @Vincentfhylla , and then posted it. Then that's when I first saw you had already answered, during the period when I was writing my answer. I didn't intend to be repetitive. :)

This "_OneLink Safe and Sound_" made by First Alert appears to be a "Stand Alone" device, which utilizes the First Alert "_OneLink Home_" mobile-phone App. In addition to the alarm sounds, **you** can receive notifications on your phone in case of an emergency to help provide a warning of a fire or carbon monoxide while you are home or away (does **not** notify a Professional Monitoring Service). Unfortunately it is NOT compatible with the Ring Alarm system and can not connect or trigger the Ring Alarm system. The Ring Base Station is the heart and hub of the Ring Alarm system, which is connected to the Internet via your Wi-Fi router (with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, or 5GHz Wi-Fi, or directly with an Ethernet cable). But all sensors that are capable to triggering the Ring Alarm 'talk' directly to the Base Station with "Z-Wave" frequency. The "OneLink Safe and Sound" device does not use Z-Wave and only connects directly to Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz. Here is a link that lists compatible devices for the Ring system: [https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026250452-Works-With-Ring-Compatible-Devices](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026250452-Works-With-Ring-Compatible-Devices) Since the "_OneLink Safe and Sound_" is a Fire (smoke) and Carbon Monoxide alarm that emits an alarm sound itself, it is possible to utilize the Ring "_Alarm Smoke and CO Listener_" near the "_OneLink Safe and Sound_", which would then relay to the Base Station to trigger the Ring Alarm system. [https://shop.ring.com/products/alarm-smoke-co-listener](https://shop.ring.com/products/alarm-smoke-co-listener) But an easier solution (in lieu of using the combination of the "_OneLink_" with a "_Ring Alarm Smoke and CO Listener_") would be to just purchase the "_First Alert Z-Wave Plus Smoke/CO Alarm_" which IS compatible with the Ring Alarm system, and does directly connects to the Ring Base Station using Z-Wave. [https://store.ring.com/products/first-alert-zwave-smoke-co-alarm-combo-gen2](https://store.ring.com/products/first-alert-zwave-smoke-co-alarm-combo-gen2) Utilizing either the Ring "_Alarm Smoke and CO Listener_" OR the "_First Alert Z-Wave Plus Smoke/CO Alarm_" can trigger Fire response and the Base Station alarm siren, and therefore are eligible for potential House Insurance discounts (with 'Professional Monitoring' with the Ring Protect Plan "Plus"). [https://shop.ring.com/pages/protect-plans](https://shop.ring.com/pages/protect-plans) I hope you find this information useful :)
