Motion sensor gen 2 not very sensitive

Hi,I recently replaced a gen 1 motion sensor as it was starting to detect motion when there wasn’t any and it had been fine for years.Well this gen 2 isn’t half as sensitive, if I keep low to the ground it didn’t detect me at all as I made my way across the room!Surely this can’t be right? I could never get past my gen 1 no matter what I did!

Hi @Ninko. The Motion Sensor is not designed to be mounted low to the ground. It is designed to be mounted between 7-9ft. high. This is the optimal mounting height for accurate motion detection.
