Motion sensor false detections

Bedroom sensor has been moved a couple of times, still get random alarms. Thought it might be the cat getting in the blinds in the window? but twice this morning on my way to work. There is a ceiling fan but I think it was off. I just deactivated the sensor after the 2nd alarm.
