How to set up Leviton Z Wave plug-in outlet to turn on connected lamps when alarm is triggered

I purchased the Leviton outlet since it was listed as 'works with Ring' but have not figured out how to make it an active device that is triggered when the alarm goes off. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi @hedgecocka. While the Leviton Decora Smart Plug-In Outlet is a Works With Ring device, it cannot be linked to other Ring devices such as your Ring Alarm. Only other Ring devices can be linked to each other using the [Linked Devices](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033904271-Linking-your-Ring-devices-together-for-enhanced-security-) feature. Works With Ring devices are third-party devices that are not manufactured by Ring, but can be connected and controlled via the Ring app. Different devices may have different levels of functionality in the Ring app, which you can read more about in our Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026427491-Works-With-Ring-Basic-Information).
