Hardwired Ring Siren - Pairing

Hi there - apologies if this is a daft/duplicate question.My electrician hardwired my ring siren and I’m now trying to pair it with the app. When I try to I get as far as the step when I’m told to remove the battery pull - is this still needed if the siren is hardwired?I can’t now access the siren to remove the battery pull and didn’t think this would be necessary with mains power?Thanks I’m advance to anyone who may be able to help!Mike

Hi @MikeGrime. Yes, pulling the tab will initiate the connection needed for the Base Station to receive the signal. I suggest doing this with the Base Station as close as possible, to allow for the best connection.
