Flood and Freeze sensor - will digital notifications work without a plan.
Hi,I am a new Ring alarm user. The printed manual and the app both say that digital notifications, arm/disarm will not work without a plan. My new set up works perfectly. I get notifications to my phone and I can arm/disarm remotely. (I did not sign up for the trial)My friend who has had a Ring alarm for years has the same experience.My question is, if I add “Freeze and Flood” sensors, will I also get notifications to my phone, despite the Ring manuals saying I will not?Thanks

Hi @user_d346c1. At this time, a Ring Protect plan is required to receive push notifications for Ring Alarm activity. When you set up a new Ring Alarm, you receive a temporary Ring Protect trial, which is why you're receiving notifications. The trial is not something you sign up for, it is automatically applied. If you want to continue receiving notifications, including for the Flood and Freeze Sensor, a plan will be required once your trial ends.
