Failing to add second alarm range extender

I bought a second range extender but when I try to add the device it says I already have one and I need to uninstall that one first. Can I install a second one?

Hi @user31074. Yes, you are able to add more than one [Alarm Range Extender](https://ring.com/products/alarm-range-extender-v2) to the Ring Alarm System. Can you provide a screenshot of the message you get when adding your second Range Extender? In the meantime, reboot your Base Station by quickly pressing and releasing the reset button on the back of the device with a paper clip or similar tool. To avoid factory resetting the device, do not press and hold the reset button down for more than one second. Then try setting up your new Range Extender again.
