Compatible Battery Problem for Siren I bought two respectable batteries from Amazon to enable night LEDs but they were not recognised by the sirens Customer service very helpful but no solution Bought two Ring batteries at double the price and they worked Is there a chip in Ring batteries to prevent use of other batteries?

Hi @CDTDinas. You can view the compatible power sources for the Ring Outdoor Siren [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058277512-Outdoor-Siren-Power-Sources). There are no third party options for the [Ring Quick Release Battery Pack](https://ring.com/products/quick-release-battery-pack). You're welcome to use any brand of D batteries you prefer if you need to replace the included D batteries.
