Cancelled house phone line..do I need to change my configuration? Also I have a motion sensor open and battery is out.
Hello,Questions: A week ago or so I dropped my landline phone (don't need one anymore) but I'm wondering if I need to change any of my connection anywhere, like unplug a phone line/ethernet line going to either the alarm control panel, retrofit alarm kit, or alarm base station?I feel like everything was working fine for the last week or so, but last night, I wasn't able to set my alarm because it said I had a motion sensor open which I thought was odd. So I had to go into the app and bypass some things to set the alarm to HOME mode. Also the app said that my Retrofit Alarm Kit is out of battery. I opened the retrofit kit and saw where there are 2 lithium batteries that I will replace tonight. Is that the possible reason I'm having these issues?Thank you!

Hi @BMeadBam. Disconnecting your landline should not interfere with your Ring devices since they do not connect to that in any way. As for replacing the batteries in your Retrofit kit, if you still have issues afterwards, give our support team a call for further assistance.
