Battery Replacement (2nd Gen Contact Sensor)
contact-sensor

This is likely to be a silly question, but I cannot for the life of me work out how to replace batteries in the Ring 2nd Gen Contact Sensors. As per the photo, I have removed the back cover and can see the batteries, but cannot work out how to actually get them out other than through brute force…![image|375x500](upload://s30D2B4Wi0I0l10SDm4b7PwBg5h.jpeg)

Hi @Tornado1991. I reached out to my team and they shared some helpful information on how you'll want to remove the batteries from the 2nd Gen Contact Sensor. There is a little round hole in the slot where the battery goes, so you'll want to put a screwdriver or something similar into the hole, push the battery to the opposite side and pry up gently. I'll attach a photo example below that should help demonstrate what I mean with this. I hope that helps! :) ![Image from iOS|375x500](upload://zsgQDXGDo2JIkTuN2VMDeuADs3Y.jpeg)
