Alexa Routines not working with alarm sensors

Hi all, I recently got a ring alarm, and have set up a couple of simple routines to try out the Alexa integration - they work fine when I play them in the Alexa app, but the automated triggers (in this case a door open sensor) is not triggering the routine. I feel I have kissed something, but as far as I can see everything is setup right (sensors appear I. Alexa routine options, sensors are triggering in the ring app) Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
