Alarm vs Alarm Pro Security Kit, 14-Piece

Both kits look to have the same components, except for the base station. What am I missing when the Pro is cheaper at full price and even after the discount?

Hi @red_vette. You are correct that the two kits have the same components aside from the Base Stations. The Ring Alarm Pro Base Station has a built-in Eero 6 router and it is designed to be used as your primary router and not a wifi extender. With a [Ring Protect Pro](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061018212-Information-about-Ring-Protect-Pro) plan, you'll also have access to additional features on the Ring Alarm Pro, such as [24/7 Backup Internet](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061018412) and Local Recording with [Ring Edge](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054769672). If you're uncertain on which Ring Alarm kit to get, I'd recommend reviewing all the information we have on the Ring Alarm Pro [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054396012-Ring-Alarm-Pro) so you can determine which kit will be the best fit for your home setup.
