2nd gen contact sensor running out of battery

I have 4 contact sensors, one of which has lost contact due to running out of battery twice while the other 3 are still showing as Green. It is in the same room as my ring range extender so connection shouldn’t be an issue. The only differs is that this particular door is very rarely used. I would have thought this would extend the battery life though. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @MrBD. It's unlikely the battery would be running down that quickly if it's a door that isn't used often. I'd recommend factory resetting the Contact Sensor, inserting a new battery, and then setting it back up in the Ring App to monitor the battery life.
