1st gen ring keypad can't connect to the network

Hi there, I’ve got my 1st gen ring keypad but couldn’t connect it to the base station. I’ve tried to factory reset the keypad → pressing the hole in the back for >10seconds. Tried to do this adjacent to the base station, the app could find the keypad device, but the keypad just wait to connet to the network, followed the app instruction to press ‘1’ key, it still couldn’t connect. Repeated the above steps with different variations, still no luck. Any advice please? Thanks
