Exploding Doorbell

Has anyone else experienced the battery on a Ring Doorbell 2024 ver explode on them? We had ours on charge over the weekend, and it started to smoke to the point where the plastic melted and showed the missus with Lithium sparks. Its burnt the carpet, blind and clothing she had on, I have noticed that the ring website is very sparse when it comes to stuff like this.
