Amazon Alexa + Ring
Amazon Echo, Wink, Kevo and more!
Hard of hearing, can I make the Pro flash as it rings?
(I don't know what "topic: key by amazon" means but the other one didn't make sense either, also not sure what "works with ring" means either.)I have dual cochlear implants. I'm deaf when they're out, which any hearing device should be out while you sleep, imo. Can I make the Pro flash as it rings? I'd like to put one in my room where I sleep, and have it flash and play a sound when the doorbells are rung. Also, potentially I'd like to have a 2nd doorbell on my room door, that would cause it flash differently and ring different sounds.I assisted a Ring user with her home Ring security system and was impressed with it as I worked with her to get it working again. (she had just recharged her batteries, she said she thought they had lasted 4+ years, but I wasn't sure if that was realistic)

Hi @Roger_0bcbbd. At this time, you can't set any Ring devices to flash their lights based on a trigger. I'd recommend looking at Alexa-compatible smart lights. You might be able to set up an Alexa Routine to have a compatible smart light flash when someone rings your Ring Doorbell.
