Yale smart lock offline in Ring app after battery change

I have a compatible Yale smart lock (Z-wave) that was successfully integrated with my Ring system months ago. This week, the lock battery was low so I replaced the battery. Now the Ring app is showing my lock as offline, so apparently I lost the Ring/lock connection. I tried “retry connection” with no success. Is there a way to reconnect the device without doing a complete factory reset?

Hi @user5985. I would try unplugging your Base Station and bringing it next to the Smart Lock, then attempt to retry the connection. There may be something in between them that is causing this concern. Let me know if this helps.
