WARNIG: Ring Solar Pathlights: Great for Calif & Florida -- Useless Anywhere Else

I’m in northeast and have 10 of these. In summer they’re fine but starting in the fall, as the sun moves south, the sun doesn’t charge these things and they DIE every two weeks and need to all be brought inside and charged via USB overnight. The tiny battery and solar panel were obviously only tested in California and the panels are weak and useless 3 seasons out of the year in northern half of the country or Canada.I've gone through Ring battery and solar pathlights now and I now realize my only choice for maintenance free pathlighting is low-voltage wired.Tough expensive lesson.Good luck
