Desperately losing the will to live Just had a new wireless Vodafone gigacube to replace my old wired broadband Since doing it my Ring won’t connect to the new gigacube router I’m told it’s because the Ring won’t connect and ia incompatable with a wireless broadband such as gigacube? I’ve bought a TP Link extender that operates in 2.4ghz but still no joy HELP 🙏🏼

Hi @Gazpotter. Most Ring devices are only compatible with a 2.4GHz network connection, with only a few also being compatible with 5GHz networks. The Vodafone Gigacube doesn't seem to support that, which would prevent your Ring from connecting. You may be able to configure a wifi extender to transmit only a 2.4GHz network, but you would likely need to adjust settings on the extender and use a different network SSID and password for it. Also keep in mind that Ring devices are not compatible with WPA3. We have some additional troubleshooting steps [here](https://support.help.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217240386-Fixing-Repeated-In-App-Setup-Failures) for when the setup process doesn't work. If this issue persists, please follow up with our [support team](https://support.help.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372-Contact-Us#callus) for further assistance. Your concern may need to be escalated since it deals with advanced network troubleshooting.
