Hey there, @mrpudgie2! We offer a variety of faceplates on our accessories page at Ring.com. Each faceplate will differ based on Video Doorbell model, and compatibility information will be shown for each faceplate.
As you mentioned a gold color, this may be referring to our older Video Doorbell (Gen 1). These faceplates are not intended to be removed and are secured to the body of the Doorbell. I hope this helps!
