Upgrading plan with a new device

I want to upgrade my plan because I bought a new device for the backyard. My current plan finishes in Nov. If I upgrade now, what happens to the $ that I’ve already paid until Nov? Do i get a refund of some sort?

Hi @Jho1eb76. If you have a Basic plan now and are looking to purchase a Plus plan, I’d recommend purchasing the Plus plan first and then canceling your Basic plan. You’ll receive a prorated refund for the unused time on the Basic plan. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to process. You can find information on canceling a Ring Protect plan here.
