Upgraded to protect plus

I have recently added a 3rd device so have upgraded to protect plus. My other 2 devices are subscribed to basic. I know I will get a refund for the remainder of the year for these 2 devices but my question is.
Will this happen automatically or do I have to cancel them in my account ?

First, save any videos you need from your two devices covered by the Ring Protect Basic plan just to ensure these are safe, and then you can cancel the Basic plans to make sure everything is in order under the Plus plan.
