Hello, i have a ring doorbell 2 and looking to upgrade to the ring doorbell plus. Now my question is can i use the existing mount i have for the new doorbell? If not how does Ring expect me to drill more holes to upgrade my doorbell? Will not not damage my external walls? Why would ring want the community to upgrade to their new products at the cost of damaging our walls by making more holes?
Hi @user64922. Unfortunately, you cannot use mounting brackets from a Doorbell 2 on a Doorbell Plus. The Doorbell Plus is compatible with Ring Video Doorbell 3, 3 Plus, and 4 accessories.
