So far I have had the ring doorbell 4 £179rrp after upgrading from my gen 2 2020 ring doorbell £89 for around 2 days. I am currently regretting my decision… I have noticed that the picture quality is poorer than that of the gen 2, night vision is lesser quality and the camera lens is visible when viewing the camera (never had this issues with the lesser device). I don’t see how the above plus slightly better battery capacity makes the camera worth the £179rrp. If anyone is looking to upgrade I would advise against because extra battery isn’t worth the loss in camera quality! Would love to speak to someone in ring regarding the above issues…
