I’ve just set up my doorbell and I jeep getting prompted to set up two step verification who sms but when I enter my phone number I get an error message, has this happened to anyone else

Hi neighbors. If your Ring app is not taking your mobile number for two-factor authentication by SMS, try the following steps:
- Check that your Ring app and smart phone are up-to-date with the most recent updates.
- Reboot your smart phone.
Disable any active VPNs on your smart phone.
Try using another device to activate your two-factor authentication by SMS. You can also try activating it by logging into your account on Ring.com.
