I have a Gen2 doorbell and im trying to connected to the wires of a previous normal doorbell. The only time it seems to work (doorbell chimes) is when youre removing the wires. Weve tested the wires and both sides work, they just dont work properly together.Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Hi @CheMcN. It's possible your chime kit isn't compatible with the Ring Doorbell. If you have a Ring Video Doorbell 2, you can find the chime kit compatibility list [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003008663-Ring-Video-Doorbell-2-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List). Having an incompatible chime kit can prevent it from ringing when the Doorbell button is pressed. You can find the rest of our chime kit compatibility lists [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=chime+kit) as well. :)
