I have updated my plan today but my ring is still not recording … I revive live view but no history

Whether within trial period, or subscribed to a Protect Plan, your recordings should be available in the event history section of the Ring app. If you recently subscribed, please ensure you applied it to the owner account or email address. Keep in mind that any lapse in plan between trial and subscription will result in a loss of the videos prior to subscribing. Removing and reinstalling the Ring application on you mobile device may also help with this. Feel free to let us know how this goes!
