Transformer - Am I being pranked?

Just installed the transformer for my low voltage system. To make it short, the transforming part works, but the smarts do not. The app doesn’t control the lights. The button on the transformer doesn’t control the lights. When I press either button, my lights do nothing.

I’ve installed and reinstalled both my bridge and the transformer but the transformer still doesn’t control the lights.

So what did I do? Threw the transformer on a smart outdoor plug and now I have the smart part. Did I get a faulty unit?
