Need support for garage door open/closed status. I was shocked that after buying a garage door opener that "Works with Alexa", I was not able to connect it to my Ring security system.

Hi @brandon.reese. You can find a list of compatible Works With Ring devices [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026250452-Works-With-Ring-Compatible-Devices), which can be added in the Ring app via the Ring Alarm system. A device being compatible with Alexa does not mean it will be compatible with Ring, as these are two separate apps and systems.
