Stick-up camera battery stuck at 54%

Installed the camera with the battery at 25% with a solar panel. The charge has increased nicely over the week to 54%, rising a bit each day. (Mostly indirect sunlight.) I have never charged the battery from AC – only from the solar panel.

But for the last couple of days, with lots of sunlight, it is stuck at exactly 54%. Last Health Check date and time are current. It is not ever showing above or below 54%.

Any idea why it the health check won’t indicate more than 54%?

Hi @roc856. The Solar Panel should be charging your Stick Up Cam’s battery with several hours of direct sunlight per day. Since the percentage is neither increasing or decreasing, this seems more like a potential error in the Ring app itself. Try rebooting the Stick Up Cam using the “Reboot This Device” option on the bottom of the Device Health screen. The reboot will take a few moments. Monitor the battery percentage after that to see if there is any difference.

If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest fully charging the battery with the included charging cable. Reinsert the fully charged battery, and ensure the Solar Panel is firmly plugged in.
