Looking to add a ring cam to my garden, just wondering if you can also use it just as a light at night, i.e can you activate the light through the app when needed?

Great question, @Markh80. The Spotlight Camera lights can indeed be activated via a manual toggle available in the Ring app. There will also be a duration option so you can choose a desired length of time for these to remain on. Of course, the lights can also be triggered by motion, so if your light turns off after the duration time frame ends, any activity within range can initiate the lights again.
